1.
If anybody lied They’d ruin our surprise Come gather round, I’ll tell you all a story The suns about to rise It’s time for lullabies Come take my hand and wander ‘till the twilight
2.
Bastard Too 03:43
The clocks at 3 am, should we be asleep? My mind is racing faster, you’re always such a tease And I forgive it all I know you’re all I want and more I’ll give the world when I am sure Then I’d forget I was a bastard, too Now as I lay beside you, I’m sinking far away If patience is a virtue, I hope it always stays If you forgive it all
3.
I wanna meet you in the foyer baby Your dress and time would slip away Those eyes are staring from the corner baby I just don’t get this every day Stop and stare, I’m feeling unaware, I wanna hold you so close Look around, I’m feeling unaroused, so let’s forget this at most This bottle’s empty but the stars shine so bright You'd think this mood would be enough?! Your lips caressin’ mine would rock my world babe I told you I don’t like it rough Stop, and stare, I’m feeling unaware, I wanna hold you so close Look around, I’m feeling unaroused, so let’s forget this at most Don't you care, because I couldn't bare, to miss this chance and grow old Time is now, let’s be our lost and found That’s just the way it goes I’m told Hold me, don’t know me, and I’ll wait again Hate me, just taste me, don’t you say we’re friends You’re the same one, you’re the same girl, you’re all I’ve ever known You hold me girl, you hate me, so I’ll wait again
4.
I remember when a child would play through the grass The sun, the welcome shade, was all they needed for time to pass It doesn’t matter if they reap what we sow They’re always looking at their phones Miracles can fade into fatal flaws Entertain yourselves while you fall Put the world on pause, live through your machine Whenever we fade away, there’s nothing but the screen I remember when we’d chase and hideaway and play pretend A game, a memory, would live forever in our heads It doesn’t matter if you say your aware When all you ever do is stare And I say, And I say, you’ll never close your eyes again And I say, I say you lie
5.
I'm counting sheep, I'm running down A codeine fiend, a life abound Accountable, yet who's to blame Let's drink another, hide the shame But if you don't fly low, you'll hit your head If you don't reason you might be dead And if I see you smile You'll lay in bed and see the way you really are Them fantasies are nothing new You watch your mouth girl, don't be rude We'll fly away to distant lands Your parents ask, you never ran Blastin off, now tell me aren't ya feelin like a "Rasta" Infamous but famous for the feels and creepypasta High school bitches fightin’ they just put that shit on World Star (World Star, fuckin’ World Star) Now’s your time, you're flawless, don't you feel that you might go far - Nope!
6.
Melatonin 04:09
Lay yourself down, it’s time to get some rest Float right on sound, wishing you the best of luck Lying awake, the sun hit yesterday It’s yours to take, you’ll always find a way You’ve played yourself for someone ever more You’re going home Watch this world sleep tonight, all inside their dreams Seems so pleasant now, tranquilized or so it seems
7.
Nothing lasts forever, it's so surreal You think you're someone clever with hearts to steal Falling in your footsteps where you go Somewhere in the shadows you look so cold You should wake up, your plastic hearts aglow You could make us, your plastic heart should know I'm taking myself far from here, but I'll be near Someday I might find you far from home Waiting in my bedroom, all alone
8.
Set on a fragrance that reminds you of home Now I see in your eyes that you long for the sound of simplicity Now we'll go our own ways but the song has changed, how clever Now I see a brighter sky but you long for a man of serenity Maybe we weren't meant to walk this road together So forge your own path But man, I've made a thousand reasons forever So turn your head and don't look back Forge your own path Speak with your eyes closed and your hopes as high as hell I'm not blind to all you've gave me, but your cry is just as cold as the river

about

An intricate blend of alternative rock, caffeine, desires, and vices. Technical yet also rowdy, Caffeine Queen captures carefully produced tracks from a band that draws from a variety of influences, from the Strokes to Thundercat and STRFKR. House/EDM producer Nick Smith of "Rocket League" captured the bands Alternative/Indie Rock songs, and together they have a very polished, intriguing, unmistakably contemporary mix for their record.
